The harvests compared

We harvested Neuburger classic earliest in 2024, on 3 September, and latest in 2023, on 18 September. The must weight ranged from 18 to 19 °KMW. Each vintage's batch came to between 1,050 and 2,100 litres.

The figures compared

Depending on the vintage, the residual sugar of Neuburger classic was between 3.3 and 5.3 g/l. Its sugar-free extract, meaning everything dissolved apart from water, alcohol and sugar, ranges from 18.3 to 21.0 g/l. The laboratory measured its total sulphur at between 86 and 107 mg/l. Each vintage only receives its official inspection number after laboratory analysis and tasting by an official panel.
